What’s In Your Wallet?

whats-in-your-walletOne goal of everyone who does any kind of marketing is to be known by a jingle or a phrase and I’m just like everyone else and would love that recognition….sigh.

The phrase “What’s in your wallet” is very well known. But other than creating a sense of familiarity when you hear it, what goes through you mind (if anything) when you hear those words?  Hopefully you don’t focus on lack or the fact that what’s there is not what you’d like it to be. You should be focusing on the fact you have a wallet and a job and your life! Even if you only have a dollar in your wallet, you are rich – you are as rich as you feel. You can feel like the richest, most prosperous person in the world even with one dollar. Do you have any pictures in your wallet? If so, that is evidence of your abundance – you have family or friends whose picture you carry with you near and dear to your heart. What is more valuable than love? Nothing in my book. Love is the most important aspect of my life. That and being able to help others. With love in your heart, your vibration is as high as it possibly can be and if you ride the wave of love, there is nothing you cannot do!

You know what one of THE most valuable things in my wallet is? My military ID. Not just because it serves as my ticket onto the base and to medical but because of the 30 years of active duty I served in the Navy. The memories contained in that single card are priceless to me. And every time I touch it, the experience of that part of my life comes back to me once again. I hold the card and can go back to any time I want and relive the great times. You can do that with any item in your wallet, even currency. If you have a dollar bill, think back to the first time you had a dollar in your pocket or in your hands and could then put it in your wallet. What memories are engaged when you do that? If they are great memories, use them to increase your vibration in a positive mode. Even if they aren’t the best memories or you feel you had to struggle too hard, use that memory as inspiration to reach for your goals. That will increase your vibration in a positive direction if you use it properly.

What about credit cards? Don’t think of them as symbols of your debt because that will focus you on lack and then you’ll just attract more of that. Realize that you have enough value that you can have a credit card! Not everyone can qualify. Then take it a step further and recognize that you have willpower and discretion so that you use your credit card with Divine Wisdom. You also can focus on (and raise your vibration with) the fact that this means you can provide for your family and even your friends if they need it. You have credit and you really CAN take care of money. One of my limiting beliefs came from my father telling me repeatedly that I’d never be any good with money. I’ve had to work diligently on that one since everything he said to me I took as the Gospel – out of a combination of love and fear of him.

Are there notes in your wallet? A list of phone numbers perhaps? What do those phone numbers mean to you. Are they of people you work with, your family, your friends, your emergency contacts or what? What does each person mean to you? Do you have some special business cards there? What do they mean to you?

Take a day this week and go through your wallet and hold it in your hands feeling all of the feelings and vibrations contained within. You’ll be surprised and if you put some effort into it, you’ll think about your wallet in a much more powerful way than you ever have! It will empower you too. You have so much value and so many vibrational tools in your wallet that you cannot help but improve your momentum when you look at it from the positive perspectives we’ve just discussed.

Let us know how you did and what got brought up when you worked this through.

Momentum Monday

momentum-monday1“Make peace with outrageous abundance. You are more likely to have a pure vibration and attract more abundance if you leave money out of the equation. But it isn’t because money is the “root of all evil.” It’s because it messes up your vibration, usually.” ~Abraham [Excerpted from the workshop: San Francisco, CA on February 27, 2005]

This is a great follow-on to last week’s Momentum Monday. People often criticize us for talking so much about prosperity and abundance. That always tells me something about the complainer, though. If they have a narrow view and see the words prosperity and abundance as meaning only money, then their thoughts in life are narrow and they could benefit from expanding their view and concept of these words. Both prosperity and abundance apply to every aspect of your life – health, peace of mind, friendship, love, happiness, spirituality, wealth (not just monetary) and any other aspect of your life.

The best way to embrace these concepts is by considering it all as abundance (and as Abraham says, make it “outrageous” abundance). Go into a quiet place and listen to your body when you say or think the words “outrageous abundance”. If there seems to be something negative, try the word “abundance” by itself and see if it’s that or the “outrageous” part. Practice visualizing abundance in your life in the easiest way you can imagine – it might be love or friends or it might be health or anything else. Find whatever will give you the best vibration. Work on that feeling and try to then move it over to another aspect of your life. Take your time and go slowly. Try to see if you can remember things you were taught when you were a child regarding these aspects – see if you can identify any limiting beliefs. Once you’re aware of them, then see if you think they are still valid or just have stayed in there because you haven’t paid attention to them previously. Taking everything slowly is the key to seeing what each of these beliefs means in your life.

You really do deserve abundance and can have it!

There’s Always Enough

custom_clothespinned_paper_16139Remember when we talked about the economy being a mirror or you and your beliefs?

This is more on that subject and a very important “more”. It affects your every day life.

If you repeatedly think that there isn’t enough, you are constantly in a state of lack. This keeps your momentum at bay, sets up a low level (and in some cases a high level) stress response in your body. You do NOT function well when your body is experiencing the stress response. You may think you and the reason is that in this day and age pretty much everyone experiences this chronic low level stress and we consider it normal. Stress keeps you in your fight, flight (or even freeze) mode and this is for survival – survival right this minute, not in the future. So you don’t have time or the ability to project into the future.

When you think of not having enough, you will attract more of that lack to you. That isn’t what you want but you’ve been conditioned all your life to think that what is going on around you reflects ACCURATELY what will (or is) happen in your life. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It appears this way because you repeat the cycle over and over again. You think about lack, attract lack and obviously get more lack. I would imagine that this belief has been instilled in you since childhood and then added to by the media, teachers, friends and continued family input.

You have to believe in the Universe and in how all throughout the ages, there has been enough of everything – “enough” always appears. That’s why we shouldn’t panic about gas “shortages” or food “shortages” – the Universe will always provide. Someone always comes up with a new alternative, another way to provide what you need.

Take some time and go back through your life and try to find places and times where you were just “sure” you wouldn’t have enough. But then out of nowhere came your saving grace.

Put this mantra right up there with the other couple I’ve given you – “There’s always enough” – whenever you feel scared that you’re not going to have enough time, money, energy, ideas or anything, repeat this over and over again until that anxiety and panicky feeling disappears and you can concentrate on other things in life. Keep doing this repeatedly whenever that feeling or thought pops into your brain.

Try it – there really IS always enough!

The Economy Is A Mirror Of Your Mind

economy-hi

Did you ever notice how some people see great things in a pile of “muck” and others just see “muck”. You see what you are conditioned to see and what your beliefs tell you to do.  The more you learn to see the good in things, the more you will attract good things into your life. If you think “I never have any luck” or “nothing good ever happens to me” or “the economy stinks. How could I possibly be expected to succeed or make any money”, this is what will occur in your life. Basic Law of Attraction. Couldn’t be simpler.

If you say things like “the economy stinks so my income will stink”, you are giving away your control in life. You make yourself a pawn to others and to the revolving factors in the universe. Do you really want to do that? Do you want to give up control of your life? I know that I don’t wan to do that in any way, shape or form. So, if I want good fortune to come to me, I look for it in every situation. I’ve talked about this in last week and this week’s “Tuesdays with Terrie”. There are lots of things I could find “bad” or “wrong” with the latest events in my life but why would I want to concentrate on them? I don’t want more bad things in my life. I want to see the good in the experience and see the lessons learned and that can be learned from these events. And the more I look, the more experienced I get so that it becomes automatic to look ONLY for the good things.

Take my developing epilepsy when I was 21. I could have been all bummed out because that meant I could no longer pursue my goal of becoming a neurosurgeon. But, I was so ecstatic that a) I didn’t have a brain tumor (one of the two “options” I was given – “you either have epilepsy or a brain tumor”) and that b) my seizures were easily controlled with medicine and c) that I hadn’t been killed or injured when I had a seizure driving. Because I was focusing on the good in the diagnosis, nothing bad ever came from it. And as it turned out, having a disability has helped me understand and help my patients live with something that has a stigma in their own lives. How could I possibly be unhappy when I’ve seen all those benefits?

While THE economy is a reflection of Universal or Divine Mind, your own personal economy does NOT have to be. When people hear that the “economy is bad” and think that they have to be subject to everything that everyone else is, they just give up and sink into the despair and belief that they will just be poor until the economy changes. When a person understands that this is just a collective thought that they don’t have to buy into, then they can continue to work in the positive aspects of their own prosperity. They do not give their control to anyone else. The Universe loves action and these people take action, making their own success and economy. They know that they attract what they focus on and instead of focusing on (and complaining about) the “bad” way things are going, they simply look for solutions. Their mind is solution oriented, not problem oriented. As such, they find the answer and bring prosperity into their lives – over and over again.

Which type of life do you want? Prosperity or poverty? If you choose prosperity, stop listening to others, stop watching the news, stop being so impressionable and start bringing what you want into your life!

Momentum Monday

momentum-monday1“As you practice your more positive, better-feeling story, in time your pleasure will become the dominant vibration within you, and then as you couple your pleasure with your means of earning, the two will blend perfectly and enhance each other.

There is no better way to earn money than to do the things that you love to do. Money can flow into your experience through endless avenues. It is not the choice of the craft that limits the money that flows—but only your attitude toward money.

—Abraham

Excerpted from the workshop: Money and the Law of Attraction on August 31, 2008”

This fits right in with what I recommended you do in the beginning of December and hopefully you’ve already been working on it. That is, writing your story for 2015 and designing your new life. Once you’ve written the year’s story the way you want it to unfold, you will continue to go back over it time and time again, enjoying the results as you feel them while visualizing the results of the story. Your momentum will increase each time you go through the story. That is why you want to fabricate the story to the point of bringing you immense joy. Since nothing has occurred yet, you can create anything your heart desires.

As you focus on the wonderful things for the coming year, your vibrations will reach out to the Universe and bring what you are asking for into your life. As Abraham says “there is no better way to earn money [insert anything you want instead of money if you want] than to do the things that you love to do.” When you are focusing on what you love to do, there is no resistance, no negativity to get in the way and prevent that which you desire from coming into your life.

Now get to work on your 2015 story if you haven’t finished it yet! Make it an Academy Award winner too!
