If you have a subject that makes you uncomfortable when you think about it, it means there is strong desire related to it. Which means it really, really, really matters. So finding a way to think about it and feel good is your work. But it is equally effective to think about anything else and feel good, and let it in. You don’t have to think about money in order to let in money. You just can’t think about lack of money, to let in money
—Abraham
Excerpted from the workshop: North Los Angeles, CA on August 13, 2001

Abraham has such profound remarks. There are just times when it’s very hard to change your momentum especially when things appear to be spiraling downward. When you sense that happening, it’s best to just let the momentum continue and run its course so to speak. Then you can start climbing back up.

But remember what Abraham is saying here. If you focus on the lack of something, then you’ll get more of it. So rather than focusing on the lack of ‘x’, try to move to another topic and think of something that does make you feel good and abundant. There are many times in your life that you can use for this (those Kodak Moments). Just move your mind and emotions to the good things. It’s not lying to yourself. It’s simply moving into a different realm for awhile. Make yourself find that other thing and concentrate on it!

Find a Kodak Moment for this week and use it when you find yourself thinking about any “lack” aspect of your life.
