It’s been awhile

Since we’ve posted or done a teleseminar. There are various reasons for this. But the lesson to be learned is that you really do have to listen to your body.

If you just happen to be stubborn like me (couldn’t have guessed that I’ll bet), it will take a big knock down drag out fight with your body to get you to pay attention to the things you’ve been ignoring.

Before Veteran’s day (maybe that was appropriate too), I had been pushing everything too hard. That doesn’t mean I was doing too much, it means I was doing what I was doing way too hard. I wasn’t even practicing what we preach.

Stress is the biggest cause of ill-health in the world. Just accept that. And if you’re ill, you have stress somewhere in your life whether you know it or think it or not. The sooner you begin to look for that stress, identify it, and then do something about it, the better you’ll be. And you want to do that before you get sick.

Anne and I have looked at what we want to do class wise next year and we’re moving up to bigger and better things. We want to develop a membership site, and courses that are filled with content, lessons, assignments and question-answer time with Anne (both on the phone and by email). As you know, Anne has been teaching New Thought for over 32 years and teaches it like no one else in the world. This knowledge is expensive. We have figured a fee base that is fair to all parties – the students and Anne – believe me, I know this from experience – if you pay for something, you are much more likely to put it into practice or use! You must also consider that Getting Unstuck, LLC is a business and as a business we have to practice what we preach.

So, stay tuned for more information.

What’s a Miracle?

Aside from the fact that that’s what this week’s other teleseminar is, a miracle was the fantastic presentation given last night by Dr. Mary Beth Olson. She is phenomenal and I, personally, am so glad I had the opportunity to hear her explain many of the things in the Aramaic Bible – dispelling many of the “truths” I’ve learned growing up. Thank you Dr. Olson.

It’s been a really special week this week. AND………it’s not over yet.

Tomorrow (Thursday) is even more special. Anne will be teaching from Todd Michael’s “Twelve Conditions of a Miracle”.

Register now!

In this first of a two part series she’ll show us

  • how to Create a vacuum,
  • how to create your Alignment,
  • how to create a strong Asking power of identification,
  • how to Maximize your resources,
  • how to be Giving in things that matter, and
  • how to stay Grounded.

Anne will also be giving you action steps for the following week to begin your own creation of a miracle. I know that I do my best to follow instructions whenever Anne gives us action guides.

The Can’t-be-done’s

“Can’t-Be-Done’s”

by Emmet Fox

Here is a wonderful saying: “He didn’t know that it couldn’t be done, so he did it.” Meditate upon this, and you will find it very inspiring It is amazing to think how many interesting and worthwhile things most of us could do, if we had not put mental handcuffs on ourselves. What happens to many people is this: “When they are young they are full of ambition and confidence, and they attempt to do a number of interesting things. Being young, they lack experience, or the necessary means to accomplish their desires, and, after a number of failures, they become permanently discouraged and decide that after all they cannot do anything worth-while. Also they unwisely discuss their plans with other people, who thoughtlessly discourage or even snub them. Thus it is that the lives of most grown-up people are full of “can’t-be-done’s”.

They say “I can’t do this,” and “I can’t do that,” and “I am never able to do such a thing,” and “of course something else is impossible for me.”
Often they have a spurious reason – “my health,” “my constitution,” “my early training,” (or lack of it). “My age” is a favorite excuse for laziness.
“My family” is a pretty good excuse too, and, of course, there are always the climate, the unfavorable locality, and the depression.

A great industrialist has a rule in his works that when his research department fails to solve a problem, no records of these experiments are
kept. He says that these failures would be accepted as final and would prevent new men from ultimately solving those problems. He is
right, of course, in thus repudiating “can’t-be-done’s”.

Have a mental stock-taking and ruthlessly throw out all the “can’t-be-done’s” you find in yourself. Break those handcuffs with the power
of Truth. Just as you are today, you can do some wonderful things for yourself and those you love if you will get rid of the “can’t-be-done’s”.
