More on “The Tire”

It’s amazing how the Universe works!

When I went to get my bad tire fixed, it turns out that all four of my tires have “Texas Dry Rot” (I added the “Texas”) and needed replacement. So after investing over $1000 (for tires and brake work), I am back on the road and safe again.

Noticed I used the word “investing” instead of “spending”. “Spending” has a negative connotation to me and although at this time in our lives “investing” may not be much better (and might actually be the same…smile), I feel that this gives me a positive feeling about the process and therefore about my new tires.

You can bet I’ve written a lot in my gratitude journal about this. If you’ve ever driven in Texas, you’ll know that not only is it the “Truck state” it’s also the “I just thought that the speed limit sign was there for decoration” state.  I drove over 600-700 miles last weekend on these really bad tires. The Universe took care of me – as it always has I will add.  And even on Tuesday when I had the flat, it was not on the highway going fast – it was just after the turn onto a side road.

You have to change the way you look at things – and in conjunction with that, the way you feel about things. This event has exposed me to many interesting things to think upon. And, as usual, I have learned more about the practical side of life!

Praise whatever happens to you and see what parallels you can find.

Integrity & Metaphysics

Here’s a nice, short little article by Anne…see how powerfully succinct she is…

Integrity

With integrity as your foundation, you will have fewer mistakes.

You will think before you speak.

You will make sure that what you ask for is something that is good for all concerned.

You will see people with a different light, knowing that they are a reflection of something in you.

You will understand that if you do not like that person, it is something in you that you want to change.

Metaphysics without integrity is the door to chaos, pain, lack, fear, and anger.

Metaphysics with integrity is a life of pleasure, peace, love and prosperity.

Affirmation for Integrity

I am filled with integrity.

I choose only integrity.

I give only integrity.

I attract to me wonderful friends, clients, partners who also are filled with integrity.

Everyone I know is in the process of an ever increasing integrity.

I love integrity. Integrity loves me. All is well.

The “Tire” – The Power of The Word

It’s amazing how the Universe works….

How often have we told you that you must ask for wisdom first. Anne has told you the story of when she was first learning metaphysics and was so anxious to have that “power of the word”. Then one day she walked outside and her son was way up high in a tree. She gasped and yelled “John, get down from there. You’ll fall and kill yourself.”

At that moment she realized “Thank God I don’t have the power. John would have fallen had my word been all powerful.” She realized she had to ask for wisdom first.

Why am I bringing this up? I had a similar experience yesterday.

On Monday, as I was driving home I saw that there had been an apparently bad accident for many areas were blocked off and there were men in what looked like Hazmat suits. I later heard that they were cleaning up the accident. I simply mused “I hope they clean it up well so that there isn’t any glass on the road tomorrow when I come home.”

I never gave it another thought.

Not even yesterday when I made that turnaround – right over the affected area and actually over the part of the road where they would have swept debris away.

Approximately 1 1/2 miles away I had to pull over with a really, really flat tire.

I am amazed that this happened – sure you can say it’s just a coincidence but I don’t think so.

You want to hear the rest of the story – all of which raises the hairs on my skin?

Sometimes it takes things like this to show how blessed we are:

1) This past weekend I drove to and from Dallas, Tx (600 plus miles). I didn’t have any problems!

2) I was on my way home from work and not on the way to work – I didn’t have to worry about being late nor did I have to worry about as much traffic.

3) One of the guys whom I adore and who has done a great deal of work for me was available to help and not far away.

  •   This man does my Pest control and he was supposed to come last week but I had to reschedule until today.
  •   I probably wouldn’t have bothered him if he hadn’t been on his way to my house anyway.

4) A young man who lived right there came out and helped me until my other friend came. As it turns out he has the greatest idea for a “charity” that I’ve heard in so long. I will share that with you in a separate post.

5) My car, although very awkward to get the spare down from underneath the rear, has a regular tire, not one of those dinky little 50 mile tires.

Think about these things…..find out what great wonder came out of this flat tire and apply it to your life.

I could just mope around about this but instead I choose to see all the blessings from the incident.

FAQ – I got things I didn’t ask for – uh oh!

Here’s another question from our subscribers. Remember, if you have questions give ‘em to us here.

Q. I’ve gotten several things I wished I hadn’t asked for. How do I eliminate them now.

A. A good example of “be careful what you ask for, because you’re going to get it”. I’ve done that a few times myself before I learned to examine how I would be and feel if I got what I thought I wanted.

One time I asked for greater income and got a lot more work. That was not what I intended.

I was teaching a Treasure Mapping Class and had the students bring in their maps for me to check before they began to concentrate on them. One map had a man in the middle, on a ship and holding a drink in his hand. I knew her first husband had been an alcoholic and told her she needed another picture and reminded her she had stated she didn’t want another alcoholic. Instead of getting another picture she cut his hand off that held the drink. When she brought that one in I pointed out the one armed man.

She did find a beautiful picture with a healthy man in it. She put words of health, sober but fun loving, prosperous, generous, etc. and shortly afterward got married. Step 1 is to really evaluate and be sure you are asking correctly.

Step 2 is to include positive words and phrases like “loves my family” or “his family loves me” that will eliminate negative in-law situations.

Step 3 is more words of long, happy marriage, loves to travel, sincere, enjoys my friends, I enjoy his friends. Integrity, generosity, sleeps quietly (without snoring).

Remember, everything you want him to be, you have to match for yourself. (If you want a neatnik, and you’re a slob it would not work very well.)

If you still got something you don’t want, there is a way out. Simply affirm that you are finished with that part of your life and you both move in to the next step of your divine plans with ease and comfort.

You must put a “completion” into something to assure you both can let go with peace. That does work well. Good luck.

This is from Anne!
