How Grateful Are You?
by
ST JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
==============================
If you’ve read many of my emails and/or my blog posts, you’ll know that I am very passionate about St Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
Giving to St Jude’s is not tithing but it is considered “seed money” and it means that what you give will come back to you magnified many times over.
I would like you to consider giving to St Jude’s Children Hospital today (before 7 p.m. Central time which is 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific).

You can make a difference here:

Why am I doing this? Because I believe it’s important that we show our gratitude to the world – remember that giving out and being grateful is the best way to raise the world’s vibrations positively and that is certainly what we need to do right now!
Can you spare 64 cents a day? What do you spend money on every day? Coffee? Pizza? Popcorn? Latte? Fast Food? The Newspaper? What? Ask yourself what you spend that money on? Can’t you spare 64 cents a day to help cure cancer? St Jude Chidren’s Research Hospital is doing just that.
Our local country radio station is having their annual (this is the second annual one for San Antonio) which ends today and I would love to see them make a huge difference in this crusade against cancer!

Did you know that they NEVER turn anyone away because they don’t have any money or insurance? Did you know they
do EVERYTHING for the kids and the FAMILY – they are a family and they take you into their family?
I have been there. I have been at that wonderful place and although you’re probably thinking how sad it is, it is NOT a sad place. You see little kids running around with chemotherapy ports hanging out of knapsacks but laughing, running and pulling their little radio flyer wagons with their knapsacks and IVs. It’s a phenomenal experience.
We have all been touched by cancer in some way. This organization is working to conquer all forms of cancer.
So what if you’re not in San Antonio? Why should you donate? Because all the research and findings they have, they share with the rest of the world – yes, the world – St Jude is active throughout the world, not just the United States.
Look at your kids or your grandkids and if they are healthy, be grateful and then click below and become a Partner in Hope for just 64 cents a day.
Do that and help change the world – both as far as cancer is concerned and vibration wise. Contribute this seed money and you will definitely benefit from it much more than the 64 cents a day.
Thank you for helping. This is so important to me.

Help the children (and their parents NOW)!

Are You An Out of Sight, Out of Mind Type Person?
by
I sure hope not. How can sights like this be dismissed so easily from people’s minds. They were prominent forever last year when Haiti was struck by disaster. Why are people ignoring this event?
But I have to tell you that I’m so disappointed that people seem to have already forgotten the horrific experiences that the people in Japan are experiencing right now. People aren’t talking about it, the news (other than CNN and even they have decreased their coverage) isn’t really talking much about it, the newspapers here in San Antonio anyway, had some info on the front page today (Sunday’s paper) but of course, it was about the nuclear problems, not the human problems (which will get worse if they don’t control the nuclear ones but the articles were more about should we have nuclear plants here).
Have you forgotten this major world event too?
Have you just gone about your own business giving it a “well I’m glad it wasn’t me” thought?
Please take this time to do something to help these people whose lives have been completely devastated. I can’t even begin to imagine what they are going through now and will be going through for so long. Can you possibly think about having to start all over again? With absolutely NOTHING?
The one thing that everyone CAN do is to start taking stock of their wonderful life and even if you don’t think everything is really great right now, I’ll bet it’s a whole lot better than that of folks in Japan. So, get out your Gratitude Journal or use your Gratitude Journal software and start putting out positive energy into the Universe. The more we take the time to “donate” our positive vibrations, the better things will get for the folks affected by this tragedy.
Just do something….maybe you can donate a few dollars. You are much more blessed than you think. You can reach out and help these people. The banner above gives the link for the American Red Cross but you can donate to any organization you want that will help these people. There are so many organizations – you can go to CNN.com to find some of the common ones that you might feel compelled to work with.
Here are some guidelines though about donating in a crisis time like this (this comes from CNN.com also):
“The Federal Bureau of Investigation advises donors not to respond to any unsolicited incoming emails, but rather go directly to recognized charities and aid organization’s websites, as opposed to following a link to another site.
Before donating, also verify the legitimacy of the nonprofit organizations as well as its nonprofit status.
And be leery of emails claiming to show pictures of the disaster areas in attached files, because those files can contain viruses, the FBI cautioned.”
Can you ignore scenes like these?
Please do something but don’t turn away.

Be Great!
by
Look at this sign. Simple isn’t it? It’s what hit me as I was driving home the other day. There are billboards all over the roads but how many of them do you pay attention to? How many of them are embedded into your subconscious even if you’re not consciously paying attention? Think about that and be more attentive as you travel along.
But back to this particular billboard. My mind sort of stopped in its tracks when it saw this. Why? I’m not sure but I think it’s because of the simplicity of the message. Why can’t you be great? Why can’t I be great?
Think about it….it’s a simple message that says so much. What do you feel when you see it? What’s keeping you from being great? Probably NOTHING except the obstacles we put in the way. Bookmark this page. Download the photo and put it on your desktop. Print it out. Look at it every day. There really is NOTHING stopping you from being great.
Take some action and Be GREAT today. What is your definition of being great? That is, perhaps, part of what could be keeping you from being great. Define it for yourself.
We’re having record cold temperatures right now here in Texas and I realized last night once again how very important homeless shelters are. So yesterday Being Great for me was donating to the Homeless Shelter. Perhaps the Red Cross has helped people you know – support them. Buy someone a cup of coffee. Do something – it may seem ‘small’ to you but it may be something life-changing for another person. You will never know. Just do something and you will Be GREAT.
Have a GREAT day…

Science of Getting Rich Month Postponed…
by
I know I got everyone’s hopes up but you see, this special month of posts on The Science of Getting Rich was to be a part of what’s called a “blog challenge”.
Unfortunately the one that was planned for Feb has been postponed. Thus, I am postponing the series of posts until we have that blog challenge.
That does NOT mean, however, that there won’t be any posts this month. It means that they will be at the regular interval and won’t be on the Science of Getting Rich.
So, hang in there – there will still be information-rich posts coming your way!!!
Terrie
