Gratitude Will Change Your Life

Today is Thanksgiving in the United States so I felt this post was most pertinent.

Gratitude will change your life!

It’s interesting that as I was getting ready to write this post, I looked an email which had this as the lead in:

“What if we assumed that everything the Universe sent to us was “good” for us…even if we didn’t see it that way at first?

That would mean that everything that happened during our day was something positive, even if we had a negative reaction or interpreted it as “bad” initially. This new assumption would certainly change our energy quickly, wouldn’t it?”

How timely is that  – you know there are NO accidents in the universe.

But I digress. The point of my post today (and should be everyday) is that you must incorporate gratitude and an expression of that gratitude in order to receive the best blessings from the universe. Be grateful for everything and I mean everything even if it doesn’t appear to be something good for you. The reason for this is that everything is what you declare it to be. If you declare something good, it will be good. If you declare something bad, guess what? It will be bad!

I recommend you journal your “gratitudes” as I call them. And an easy way to do that is to download the free software I created called “The Gratitude Journal” – you can get it at http://www.GratitudeTracker.com .

Now downloading it is not enough by itself. You must use it!!! And you must make that use a routine, daily practice. You can’t journal about your gratitude for a few days and then claim that you got nothing in return. That’s not the way it works. You must make this a part of your everyday life. Think about it during the day and jot down what you’re grateful for (there’s a “sticky” in the program that will help those of you who sit at the computer every day).

The universe has to be cared for and you do that by thanking it. Tell the universe how grateful you are for what it’s given you. For instance, today I had to go to a doctor’s appointment and the parking area at the hospital is always totally full. So, realizing this, I started over the weekend saying that I was so grateful for the close parking space I had. I visualized it and lo and behold today I got a great parking space.

Regardless of the return you get, it’s our responsibility to be grateful for all that comes to us. You say thank you to the clerk in a store for doing their job and taking your money. So, why not say thank you to the Universe  for all the good it’s given to you.

Go get your Gratitude Journal now and begin thanking the Universe – today and everyday for every single thing that you received!

Thanks for letting me be here!

Defining Your Self-Awareness

Defining Your Self-Awareness

As we are Self-aware and someone disagrees with us, we do not feel a need to defend our Self.

We do not get upset by their disagreement. Someone else’s disagreement with us is their own self-interpretation and has nothing to do with us. They are experiencing their own consciousness.

When we are actively Self-aware, living out the inner idea of life, love, individualized, we do not really have to plan what we are going to say or what we are going to do.

This is because the idea with which we are identifying will always tell us what we need to know as we need to know it.

When we are Self-aware, there is ALWAYS something within our Self that knows what to say, what to give, what to express.

As long as we are always BEING our Self, living out of this inner reality, we are divinely guided and given instructions out of that “I” that we are, because Mind always fulfills every concept, every self-image, every idea that we use.

First of all we have to be Self-aware.

“There is One self, One Presence, One Being.

That Self that I really am is God and all that I can conceive of God to be.

I am an individualization of It, therefore my good already IS.

Since I am that which is forever complete, then mine is the consciousness of Truth, Love, God.

I am eternally aware of this Presence living through all that I think, say and do and thus I am free to go anywhere and know infinite success always, for the Presence of God is always in action as me.

When we are Self-aware, actively knowing Who and What we really are, and we are EXPRESSING the love that we are—our Self-acceptance – then we can only know, express and hear the words of love, which then draw out of the Infinite Mind the action and experience of love.

When we plan what we are going to say and do we are dealing with shadows because our plans may not fit the situation when it arrives.

It may not be at all what we imagined it was going to be for each moment has its own purpose and its unique opportunities.

When we are busy minding our own business, being involved with the uniqueness of our Total Self, then we are free to act rather than to react.

When we are busy giving, there is always action instead of reaction.

When we are actively Self-aware, when we are involved with Truth about our Self and therefore about everyone else, when we are expressing Love and a sense of completeness, we can only see, hear and experience our True Self.

There is really no one else in our experience but our own Self.

Everyone in our experience represents a facet of our Self.

They are shadows of our Self. The power is Self. There is only one power, one being.”

Bless Yourself Through Blessing Others

Bless Yourself Through Blessing Others

We often teach the people in our lives to depend upon us.

Our insecurity does this as means to manipulate others.

It gives us a false sense of power. We are here to have a WE experience, to help and bless others, but we cannot do this by teaching them to be leaners rather than givers.

Love does not teach leaning. It teaches living out of one’s Self.

It is said that he who travels alone travels the fastest. This is true. However, this does not mean that in order to go further in life we must eliminate people.

What this really means is that in order to go further we must live out of our own Self.

We must make the demand upon this Self, not upon others.

Others willingly give us all the advice we seek, but what we need is our own answer, not theirs.

We must let our inner kingdom take care of the details.

As we are Self-aware, Self-assertive, and Self-accepting, we teach all in our experience what we are all about.

When we make the demand upon our own Self, we are fearlessly facing life. We are not afraid of anything or anyone.

Those who are afraid of what is “out there,” because of what might or might not happen, are living in a prison of the shadows of their mind.

They do not realize that the world is always to them what they are to themselves.

Others always react to our own action. Yes, our reaction can be said to be an action, but it is the action of not being in charge. It is the action of not daring to be one’s Self.

When we choose to think for ourselves and demand to be our own Self in action, Mind attracts to us whatever represents this Self-acceptance in action. It cannot do otherwise.

In order to go beyond where we are right now, we must contemplate our Self in new and larger ways.

When we are Self-aware and simply observe unfoldment taking place, we are always living enthusiastically and are giving the highest of our Self to all that we do. It is an acknowledgment that we are already complete.

Reading books, listening to or watching tapes, going to lectures, are all fine. They play a part.

But the ideas we get from them must become a way of life. We are only as good as the ideas we are living right now. We have the responsibility of choosing ideas of greatness, those ideas that will take us above and beyond where we are right now in life.

Our good comes through what we ourselves are expressing, even though there are people involved.

The kingdom of God is within and when we are giving out of this abundance, the law of our Self attracts into our life the forms of that expression. Our Self is already complete.

As a Man Soweth

As A Man Soweth

All of us are familiar with great truth that whatever we impress or impregnate in our subconscious mind, whether good or bad, will come forth into objective manifestation.

This is the law of mind.

Look upon it as being as invariable and inflexible as are the laws of mathematics or chemistry.

You must realize there is only One Law in all its various phases and functions.

While building a bridge, and engineer must conform to the principles of mathematics and the laws of stress and strain.

The chemist must conform to the principles of chemistry and understand laws of attraction and repulsion.

He must also understand the role of atoms and molecules.

He doesn’t try to change the principles of chemistry any more so than the electrical engineer tries to change the principles of electricity.

Plant, therefore, in your mind whatsoever things are lovely, noble, dignified and Godlike.

This means that what you claim and feel to be true in your mind will be given to you.

What a person has is not his material possessions but a state of mind, a mental attitude or deep-seated conviction.
