Momentum Monday

momentum-monday1“Make more decisions in every day. Because a decision is a summoning of life. That’s why a little chaos is good for you, because often you don’t make a decision until you get yourself in a jam. And then, in the middle of the jam, you make a decision, but that decision summons Life Force. Have you ever been a place where you couldn’t quite make up your mind and you just felt sort of limp? “Oh, I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know.” And then you decided, and you felt alive again. We want you to know that you’ll never get it done. So don’t approach this from, “I gotta get on this” because you’re not ever going to get it done, anyway. And the other thing we want you to know is, you cannot get it wrong. So, make a decision. Let it flow.” —Abraham
Excerpted from the workshop: Larkspur, CA on August 16, 1998

This was a very meaningful quote for me. I have found that I lounge around in limbo, not making a decision, not taking action and then I start to feel cruddy because I feel as if I’m not accomplishing anything. That’s when I finally get the kick in the butt and make a decision to do something. Then I really do start to feel alive and the momentum carries me for a long time – as long as I’m continuing to take action and make decisions.

What have you been procrastinating on? What have you been mired in without being able to make a decision? It’s the beginning of the new year. Have you reviewed last year and taken an inventory yet? Do you know where you want to be one year from now? What do you want to accomplish this year?

Decide to make more decisions. Recognize your signs of inactivity and resolve to immediately take action when you realize you’re in one of those “slumps”.

Write about your decision in the comments section to help others.

Influential Laws That Govern Your Life – Part 7

rule 7Law of Circulation (also called the Law of Congestion)

This prevents stagnation. It’s usually described as a pond of water with no inflow and no outflow. That’s when the water gets stagnant. That’s when it gets nasty, ugly and you don’t want to drink it.

It applies to receiving more than you’re giving out. It’s also called mental clutter, physical clutter, spiritual clutter and employment clutter. There has to be a balance in the circulation of everything in your life. It applies to knowledge, inspiration, money, time and people.

You use this law with awareness to keep yourself in balance in regard to emotions, spiritual, intellectual receiving and giving. There has to be a balance in the energy flow.

In a partnership when you are giving and the other partner is not, you get out of balance. It begins a separation of the partnership.

If you’re not giving, your brain and soul becomes stagnant. There’s no more to receive until you let out some of the things you have.

Houses get stagnant, cars get stagnant – there has to be energy flow through these items.

Open your mind and say “Show me (or reveal to me) a new idea or understanding, or a new way to say this.” That will always give you ideas. It keeps you open and gets rid of the old stuff that you’ve outgrown. When you’ve outgrown something – whether it’s people, situations, things, thoughts or feelings – it’s time to let them go.

Periodically you have to look at the Law of Circulation and say “what do I have in my life today that I’m finished with?” Get rid of some of the things – maybe people, situations, furniture, car, anything. If you’re finished with it but won’t let it go, it will create a problem in your life – it creates stagnation and nothing else can flow through.

The whole idea is to keep things moving. Use what you have and understand that as long as you’re using it, it’s a part of you. As long as it’s good for you and is good in your life, you’re keeping that circulation open. A lot of it has to do with what you’re blessing and what you’re pushing out of the way.

When you decide to get rid of clutter, this helps the Law of Circulation work. Have you heard people tell you to do a brain dump and get ideas and things out of your head by writing them down. This gets them out, clears up the stagnation and allows the energy flow to be free again.

Momentum Monday

momentum-monday1“As you proceed in using the Law of Attraction, you will find that it becomes easier and easier to guide your thoughts into ones that benefit your life.” ~Dr. Steve G. Jones

I have found that this is so true. The more I think about the good things that have come into my life, the easier it is to think about good things – and therefore raise my vibrations.

If you cherish every little thing that happens to you and even declare everything good no matter what it seems on the surface, you will attract more and more good to you.

You never know what will come of things so it’s a great idea to be grateful for everything. I remember the run I did the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was a 72 hour run and I was poorly trained due to circumstances left from last summer. It was night and I was having trouble with my vision. So, all in all, it was becoming more difficult for me to stay positive. Then, along came a very nice young man who said “are you Terrie?” I replied that I was. He then told me that one of my blog posts, “Life is like an ultramarathon” really helped him prepare for things and for that race and he was grateful. It’s interesting because I go along and continue to post things but never know if anyone ever reads them. This young man made my whole weekend with just a few words. I’m sure he didn’t realize the impact of saying them but it was a remarkable moment in my life. And if I had not been out there at that point, I would have missed it. I thanked the Universe several times that weekend for that interaction as well as many others.

Refresh your “Kodak moments” for the coming year and whenever you seem to drift away from the good and the gratitude for life, pull them out and focus on one of them. This is sure to lift your vibration and set your momentum back on the path you want – one of positive emanation. That will lead to quicker manifestations and materializations.

Enjoy your week!

Influential Laws/Beliefs That Govern Your Life – Part 4

rule 4Law of Deliberate Change

This is a deliberate intent to select a belief system you no longer with to have and change it through denial and affirmation to one you choose to believe!

The deliberate intent is when you say “I don’t want to believe that anymore”. It has nothing to do with truth or what you believe to be truth, accuracy or what you believe to be accurate, what somebody told you, or what you read in the newspaper. Those don’t count.

Anything that needs to be changed is anything you believe puts a limitation on you. If it’s limiting, it’s not true and it should be changed.

This is the law that removes any or all limitations.

If you have a feeling or belief you want to change, look at it as “where was your authority on this? Who was your authority and how accurate could they be?”

For example, if you wanted to do some investing and didn’t think you could do them well, the stock market wasn’t good and you asked your uncle. He was in poverty and people had to subsidize him. He’s NOT a good one to ask.

Get your feelings out of the way and say “that is not my truth. I do not believe I am going to be limited in any way for investments. I will have all knowledge and all understanding.

Then do your denials and say “My truth is not to lose money in the stock market. My truth is always to earn money in the way I have chosen.”

Then you use some wisdom and understanding. “Reveal to me the person who can help me the most with good, positive, productive, wealthy investments”.

You are setting yourself up to bring in the Law of Attraction. Create in your mind the person who can help you the most. You can say things like “I no longer choose to believe this.” If you know who your authority was, you can say “my authority was not accurate.” Most of our beliefs come from someone else’s opinion. Opinions don’t count. Statistics don’t count. None of these things count when you’re working with spiritual substance.

Any limitation can be removed by recognizing that you have the power and understanding to realign your subconscious with success rather than limitation.

You start off using denials and affirmations to change that belief system. Say that your authority was not accurate and you will not be limited by someone else’s opinion. If you keep emphasizing that they were someone else’s opinion, you realize they are based on what people think and what they were told. They can come down through the generations.

Use this anytime someone says you can’t, you shouldn’t, you don’t know enough about it. Anytime someone gives you the steps you have to take. You can eliminate some of the steps.

Use it anytime you feel insecure. Anytime you feel afraid. Anytime you feel uneasy about your next steps. Anytime you believe something is difficult.

The Law of Deliberate Change comes into play when you simply say “I do not choose to believe this any longer. What I believe is that all things are possible because I say so.” You finally realize you can do something about your own life. You are not just a puppet.

Momentum Monday

momentum-monday1“If you knew everything was really all right, and that it always has a happy ending, then you would not feel trepidatious about your future. Everything is really so very all right! If you could believe and trust that, then, immediately everything would automatically and instantly become all right.”

—Abraham – Excerpted from the workshop: Silver Springs, MD on April 11, 1999

This is probably my favorite passage from Abraham! Because it’s so true and has proven itself over and over again in my life.

Try for just the coming week (the first week of the new year after you end 2014) and say this over and over again every day “Everything is really so very all right!” and “Everything always works out for me.”

The more you think and repeat this, the more likely the Universe will bring it into your existence. I know, I’ve been there, done that and absolutely LOVE the t-shirt.

You will begin to believe this as you see the results of your saying it over and over again. Everything really does turn out the way it’s supposed to and it will be all right. Just focus on that, not on the “what if” bad parts.

Try it and let me know how it works for you. Have a wonderful New Year’s eve.
