Love Week

LOVE-WEEK---BASEHey – at least I didn’t say “Love Fest”..ha ha.

I think we should celebrate this week by focusing on what wonderful things we have in our life that we can love. It’s not just about Valentine’s Day and our special others but it should also be about everything we love (or can love) in our life.

Take a moment to write down (or list in your mind) all the things you have that you love. You may cringe as I list some but if you look closely at them, you’ll see that they are there with plenty of characteristics to love.

Let’s try a few on for size:

Love your family (you can get specific or you can stay generic and close – but examine your family and talk about what there is to love…for example, if it weren’t for your parents, you wouldn’t be here – that’s something to love and cherish).

Love your body (ok, I can see the faces already). But stop and think about your body and how miraculous it is. It functions no matter what you do to or with it. You may not like the way it looks but that’s a limiting belief that is not doing you any good. Take a day to love everything about your body – your smile, your hair, your feet, you fingers…..love it all.

Love your SELF – again I hear the groans. But, get over it – at least for a day. Find things all day long that you love about yourself. Are you generous? Kind? Loving? Caring? Analytical? Smart? Funny? Introspective? Quiet? Love all your qualities. If we were all the same, it would be the pits…and very boring.

Love your Friends – this should be easy. List your friends and all the qualities they have that you love. Write about them, talk about them. Feel your love for each and every one of them.

Love your life and your job – Stop smirking. No matter what is going on in your life, it is great. There are wonderful things that you can find when you really do look for the silver lining.

Love your significant other – On Valentine’s Day, celebrate your love for another person. As they say in the Secret Service – would you take a bullet for this person? If so, that is true love. What is it that attracts you to this other person? What makes you feel comfortable and secure?

Some other things to love if you want to take it past Valentine’s Day or substitute for one item I’ve listed or talked about – love your existence, your goals, your spirituality, your power, your abilities, your disabilities, your health, your food, your time, your environment.

Let’s fill this week with total love and joy!

Influential Laws That Govern Your Life – Part 11

rule 11Law of Dominion

When you first start working on something, you don’t realize that you have dominion, that you have to accept your own responsibility. You have to be able to say “This is what I want. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this in my own life.” You can’t depend on others…and then blame them for “not doing their share”!

You have to be willing to do what it takes, whether you have help or not. That’s the point where you will really start demonstrating on big levels. You have to take charge of your world. You are God in expression. You have to claim it, accept it and be willing to use your own authority by saying “I can do all things.” It sometimes helps to say “The spirit in me can do all things.”

You have to stop depending on human help in order to get it. You do eventually get help from everybody and the Universe, but you can’t say how we’re going to get it or who’s going to help us. That’s the “outlining” part that you shouldn’t do.

It’s better to believe for yourself that you have the spiritual direction. You are the one that was given the message of what you have to do. The Divine idea that you receive is yours to do. You are the one that has to make the decision on what you are doing, when you’re doing it and how you’re doing it.

You use the Law of Dominion any time you’re in doubt. When someone mentions blocks, you say “I have no blocks. I am in charge. I will do whatever is best done by me.” Use it any time you hear delay.

Use it in conjunction with the Law of Mental Acceptance. When you begin to mentally accept what it is that you’re supposed to have in your life, then you realize that having been given this desire, this idea, it’s yours to do.

When you hear “maybe it wasn’t meant to be” simply say “that’s not my truth. I don’t believe it.” I believe that if it’s given to you, it’s yours by divine right. You claim it as yours by divine right. Then you do what comes up. You make your list of goals and dreams. Know that it’s something you have to do for yourself.

The Laws of Mental Acceptance and Dominion go together. You mentally accept that this is possible for you to do because you have dominion over your own world.

You have to take charge and say what you do and don’t want in your world and be willing to do the tings that are necessary. That’s combining.

It’s important that you use this law as you slowly gain dominion over your words and thoughts so you aren’t saying things that have dire consequences any more (e.g. “Get down from there – you’ll break your neck”).

You have to realize that when you use a lot of strength, anger and hostility, this makes things happen quickly but it’s not the way you want it to happen.

Use this law carefully until you learn the power of your words, what not to say and what not to use in your own words.

Influential Laws That Govern Your Life – Part 9

rule 9Law of Multiplication (also known as the Law of Praise and Appreciation)

It makes everything you ask for be bigger and greater. It causes the Law ot work more quickly and in easier ways. It brings to your attention anything that causes you to limit your ability to receive. Once it’s brought to your attention, you use denials on it.

If you’re using the Law of Multiplication, of Praise and Appreciation, then it opens your awareness for being reminded of anything that might limit you that you haven’t gotten yet or haven’t gotten out of the garbage heap of your subconscious mind. It also gives divine surprises.

Divine surprises are the extra things you haven’t though of ye that are nice little gifts of the universe. It’s praise and appreciation. You praise everybody, everything and every situation.

Look at your past, at things that were disappointing and claim the blessing that came out of the problems. If you haven’t done that yet and you haven’t seen the blessing that came out, then start now on anything from our past that you’re still saying was a problem, that shouldn’t have happened, that you don’t know what made it happen. Start blessing it for what it brought to you and the good that came to you.

“I see this as a blessing. I claim this blessing for the good that was in it.”

Everything in your past, whether it was a problem created by you, created by someone else, or if someone helped you with it, there’s always good to come out of it. It’s what got you to the point where you are right now.

When do you use it? All the time. Every time you open your mouth, praise somebody or something in some way.

This also prevents you from ever being critical, angry or using hurtful words or actions. You can’t be angry or hurtful and praise at the same time. It’s a wonderful took for transformation. It works quickly because it stops negative speech and thought.

Using the Law of Multiplication (Praise and Appreciation)makes everything you ask for be bigger and greater since you are spending your time praising everyone and everything.

If you realize that 51% of the time you have to be praising something or somebody in order to make the good happen, if you have spent 51% of the time in criticism, condemnation, or talking of the past, which one are you going to get? The one you spent the most time in.

This is why you have to let go of the past. Let go of any of the experiences that caused you hurt or pain. Let go, say “I declare them good. The good comes forth out of it. Let it come.” Get it out of your way so the ideas, thoughts and feelings that come through are all filled with praise and appreciation.

This is the law you’ll be using most of the time.

Influential Laws That Govern Your Life – Part 7

rule 7Law of Circulation (also called the Law of Congestion)

This prevents stagnation. It’s usually described as a pond of water with no inflow and no outflow. That’s when the water gets stagnant. That’s when it gets nasty, ugly and you don’t want to drink it.

It applies to receiving more than you’re giving out. It’s also called mental clutter, physical clutter, spiritual clutter and employment clutter. There has to be a balance in the circulation of everything in your life. It applies to knowledge, inspiration, money, time and people.

You use this law with awareness to keep yourself in balance in regard to emotions, spiritual, intellectual receiving and giving. There has to be a balance in the energy flow.

In a partnership when you are giving and the other partner is not, you get out of balance. It begins a separation of the partnership.

If you’re not giving, your brain and soul becomes stagnant. There’s no more to receive until you let out some of the things you have.

Houses get stagnant, cars get stagnant – there has to be energy flow through these items.

Open your mind and say “Show me (or reveal to me) a new idea or understanding, or a new way to say this.” That will always give you ideas. It keeps you open and gets rid of the old stuff that you’ve outgrown. When you’ve outgrown something – whether it’s people, situations, things, thoughts or feelings – it’s time to let them go.

Periodically you have to look at the Law of Circulation and say “what do I have in my life today that I’m finished with?” Get rid of some of the things – maybe people, situations, furniture, car, anything. If you’re finished with it but won’t let it go, it will create a problem in your life – it creates stagnation and nothing else can flow through.

The whole idea is to keep things moving. Use what you have and understand that as long as you’re using it, it’s a part of you. As long as it’s good for you and is good in your life, you’re keeping that circulation open. A lot of it has to do with what you’re blessing and what you’re pushing out of the way.

When you decide to get rid of clutter, this helps the Law of Circulation work. Have you heard people tell you to do a brain dump and get ideas and things out of your head by writing them down. This gets them out, clears up the stagnation and allows the energy flow to be free again.
