<p>As you continue working on your 2015 inventory, think about this saying. I know it&#8217;s had meaning for me. But, I have to believe that things are falling into place even when I can&#8217;t see what that place is.  I think that&#8217;s the problem. We always want to be able to see what&#8217;s coming up so we can decide if it&#8217;s what we want or not&#8230;That&#8217;s kind of funny as I write it. That approach is NOT one of faith, nor does it say we have much confidence in our ability to work with the Law of Attraction.</p>
<p>This saying fits quite well with &#8220;Everything always works out for me&#8221; because if I know that everything is always going to work out for me, then I know that no matter what is happening, it is for the good. It is falling into place. It may not be a place I predicted but remember that when we place our order we should NOT be outlining &#8211; outlining is telling the Universe how we want something to occur. Our job is just to &#8220;place our order&#8221; and then let the Universe find the best way to deliver it. Often times, we don&#8217;t do a very good job of &#8220;placing our order&#8221; &#8211; maybe this is  a good time to briefly review what you have to do to get the order actually placed in the Universal Catalog.</p>
<ul>
<li>Decide what it is you actually want. Sometimes this is easier to do by simply listing what you don&#8217;t want and then describing the opposite. Make sure that it resonates with you deep inside.</li>
<li>Be <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>specific</em> </span></strong>about what you want &#8211; go into great detail (this is one of the reasons I&#8217;m having you write your script for next year &#8211; so you can list the details). For example, you can&#8217;t just say you want a &#8220;lasting relationship&#8221; or an &#8220;intimate relationship&#8221; because you could have either of those with an abusive criminal or someone who hates everything you like.
<ul>
<li>Write out the specifics and go into the greatest detail you can.</li>
<li>Always end with &#8220;this or something better&#8221;</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Read the list over again and make sure it&#8217;s really what you want.</li>
<li>Do NOT allow yourself to be swayed. When you do that, you&#8217;ll never get what you want.</li>
<li>Do NOT doubt that you&#8217;ll get what you&#8217;ve asked for &#8211; no matter how long it seems to take (remember the Law of Gestation).</li>
</ul>

Of course, if you listen to the music in the stores now, it&#8217;s not too early (I couldn&#8217;t believe that the day after Halloween they had Christmas music on already &#8211; why couldn&#8217;t anyone create Thanksgiving music?).</p>
<p>There are various parts to preparing for the new year.</p>
<p>Today we&#8217;ll start with the inventory phase.</p>
<p>1) You should start listing all the things that went on in your life this past year. I like to do that periodically through the year but it&#8217;s definitely important now. You can make simple lists of what happened. You can elaborate as much or as little as you want. The point to this list is to help you remember what you experienced and this includes emotions and thoughts. Did one event seem to lead to another? Did you get &#8220;down&#8221; on yourself or even in yourself because of one or more events? What did you do to get out a funk if you were in one?  Eventually you&#8217;ll be using this list to figure out what you want to change for next year.</p>
<p>2) Once you&#8217;ve made your list, go back through it and simply put a plus or a minus by each item on the list. Plus means it was  a good experience. Minus means that it wasn&#8217;t as stellar as you would have liked. If right now you feel neutral about it, then you can put both a plus and a minus.</p>
<p>3) Go back through the list and see if any of the events led to the next (or another one down the list); kind of a domino effect. If they did, draw a line to connect them. More importantly see if the plus/minus designation is the same for both.</p>
<p>4) If the plus/minuses are the same can you remember what thoughts and emotions you had during these times? This is important because you want to see if there is any connection in your vibrations or if you were successful in recognizing that you needed to change your thinking and then you did so.</p>
<p>5) Can you recognize any patterns? Where there repeated successes? Failures? Illnesses? Injuries?</p>
<p>6) Take another piece of paper and write down the themes you see.</p>
<p>7) Once you have the themes listed, determine if they are patterns you are happy with or not. Mark them on the sheet or put the ones you&#8217;re happy with on one side and those you&#8217;re not happy with on the other side.</p>
<p>8)Read the lists over again and determine what you want to change; or, what you want to have more of next year.</p>
<p>9) Go through each of the themes and see if you can identify your beliefs (limiting or not) that worked to bring these events into existence or at least what beliefs affected the outcome.</p>
<p>10) How did the Law of Attraction come into play with these events?</p>
<p>Keep reviewing this list for a few days before we go on to phase 2.</p>
<p>Go ahead and get started. Hopefully you&#8217;re like me and write everything down on a calendar that you can use for reference.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s funny how the Universe likes to play ping-pong with us, trying to get us to slow down and pay attention. It bounces a ball toward us and  if we don&#8217;t &#8220;get it&#8221; and make an appropriate move, it repeats the same motion &#8211; only this time in a different direction. It behooves us to realize that we are being sent a message and stop in order to process what the message is. I can tell you from experience that if you don&#8217;t slow down (stop hurrying) and listen up, more &#8220;stuff&#8221; will be sent your way. It&#8217;s as if the Universe is realizing that it has to hit you over the head to get you to realize that you&#8217;re missing something.</p>
<p>When we feel calm, there should be no worry or fear. If you make vows to change your thoughts, then you&#8217;ll be able to slow down.  Remember the law of gestation, though. You have to realize that some changes take more time than others and there is not much you can do about that. But the one thing you have to do is NOT give up because whatever you&#8217;re looking for didn&#8217;t happen to come your way in the exact time frame you want. That&#8217;s where many people go wrong. They give up too soon. Your job is just to change your thoughts and keep your vibration on the right plane so matter how long it takes. Do NOT question the amount of time that seems to go by without the results you&#8217;re hoping for.</p>
<p>For the past almost 5 months now I have been focused on NOT being able to run. Even with my experience in metaphysics I didn&#8217;t realize what I was doing. First, I was creating more lack (lack of running ability) so, of course, my body couldn&#8217;t heal properly to get me back out there. Secondly, my inappropriate focus was bringing more problems that I couldn&#8217;t figure out. At least I was savvy enough to know that there was some message in all of this but for the life of me, I couldn&#8217;t figure out that message. Until this past week when many things seemed to come down at one time.</p>
<p>As a result of a very scary week, I finally realized that I was bringing all this stuff into my life. I also realized what&#8217;s important to me &#8211; helping other people is my main purpose in life. That can be done in several ways but I must concentrate on that. And since I want to be able to help others, I have to be healthy. So, I have to change my thoughts and feelings to align with health. I was not doing that. I was too &#8220;worried&#8221; and &#8220;impatient&#8221; about what WASN&#8217;T happening in my life.</p>
<p>Things change and I know that &#8220;everything always works out for me&#8221;. I just have to stop trying to be in control of everything (i.e. the timeline for my recovery). Always remember the Law of Gestation in conjunction with the Law of Attraction. People don&#8217;t usually talk about the other Universal Laws. That is a mistake. The Law of Attraction is not the only law. Everything has to be in concert when you&#8217;re working with the laws.</p>
<p>Is there anything going on in your life that is trying to send you a message? Have you stopped to figure out what that message is? Why don&#8217;t you try it &#8211; especially as we come toward the end of the year. What has happened in your life this year and what has it been trying to tell you?</p>

				<description><![CDATA[<p>No, you can&#8217;t add the intermediate &#8220;uncertainty&#8221; because that&#8217;s not really an intermediate &#8211; it&#8217;s a form of resistance. When talking about Universal Law and when talking about life in general, you are either accepting something or resisting it.  Life goes much better for you when you accept things. <p>When talking about Universal Law and when talking about life in general, you are either accepting something or resisting it.  Life goes much better for you when you accept things. Even if it&#8217;s a less than desirable &#8220;item&#8221; it&#8217;s best to accept it. Then you can change it to whatever you want.</p>
<p>Awareness and recognition are such important qualities when it comes to this topic. If you are aware that you are resisting something, you can then make a decision to change that state (the state of resistance). Once you recognize what it is you are  REALLY resisting, then that makes the change so much easier.  Sounds complicated but the two do build on one another. Although you can be aware that you are resisting something and not know exactly what it is, usually the act of becoming aware is like turning your flashlight on low beam. You can begin to see some sort of outline and begin to identify the object.</p>
<p>Once you have a bit of light on the subject, it&#8217;s amazing how quickly definition and subsequent recognition follow. If you think about your own past experiences, you know that some definition even if not complete can lead you to identifying what something is. If it has the outline and positioning of a couch, you know that it probably is a couch. Sure, you may not know exactly what color or style it is, but you know what it is and what it&#8217;s for. That&#8217;s the kind of recognition we&#8217;re after here. Specifics will naturally follow since you&#8217;ll be adding more light as you pay more attention to the subject.</p>
<p>Acceptance of where you are and where you&#8217;ve been led is vital because acceptance will then decrease the amount of stress in your life. Even when there is a bad situation such as an illness or financial crisis, your stress level will decrease once you accept it. Most of the time we have a great deal of stress because we don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on or what we&#8217;re going to be able to do about it. However, if you sit back, take a deep breath and accept that it (the situation) is here in your life, then you can relax a bit. Once you tell yourself &#8220;ok, I am having this problem &#8211; that&#8217;s a fact. I accept it. Now I shall go about dealing with it and changing the outcome using the Law of Attraction.&#8221; No one is saying that acceptance means you&#8217;re happy about the situation. Sometimes I think people feel I&#8217;m saying that. It&#8217;s simply an expression of fact. Sometimes just the act of acceptance will even ease the situation. If you continue to worry about what a particular symptom (or situation) means, then you attract more of the same and things feel worse and then get worse. Take a sore throat for example. If you continue to worry about that sore throat and then find the swollen glands in your neck and worry about them, then you are liable to jump to the next conclusion &#8211; that you have a cancer of the lymph nodes. This is even worse if your best friend is Google.</p>
<p>If you, instead, simply say &#8220;I have a sore throat. I will either wait a few days to see if it gets better or I&#8217;ll call a doctor and I&#8217;ll get better soon.&#8221;, you&#8217;ve stated a fact (you have a sore throat) and you&#8217;ve listed two decisions you can choose from (wait or call the doctor). You&#8217;ve also made another decision (that you&#8217;ll get better).  You&#8217;ve moved forward out of the worry spin cycle and are into the positive action mode. In a few days if you&#8217;re still having a sore throat, you don&#8217;t get panicky because that was a choice you made recognizing that you might or might not get better and low and behold you have NOT gotten better so you now will call the doctor. There&#8217;s no going round and round about having cancer or some other immune disorder or ebola or something else weird. You&#8217;ve remained calm throughout all of this. No one is saying that you&#8217;ve felt ok because the fact is you still have a sore throat. But, you have remained calm and been able to stay alert and focused in the positive direction of decision making. In so doing, you&#8217;ve worked the Law of Attraction to your benefit and your emotional agony is minimized. When you clear yourself of as much emotional excess as possible, your thinking process is much clearer. I don&#8217;t want to go into this today but EFT is a phenomenal way to help clear that emotional excess or baggage.</p>
<p>All I ask is for you to stop each time something happens and ask if you are accepting it or resisting it. Just doing that will lead you along the rest of the path now that you&#8217;ve been exposed to it. See how your outlook changes when you do this. See how your life changes too.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s so important for us to be able to see ourselves as we really are. And by this I mean beyond the external looks. So many people are hung up on their weight or the way their noses or mouths or any other body part looks.  Be honest with yourself right now &#8211; what are your thoughts when you look in the mirror? Do you thank the Universe for your  body? I would bet that the majority of you will say &#8220;no&#8221; if you&#8217;re honest with yourselves.</p>
<p>Why not? Why don&#8217;t we express our thanks for the wonderful vehicle our souls and minds get to move around in? Because of society and the mass compulsion (in the U.S. anyway) with looking a certain way, weighing a certain weight, having a certain color of hair etc. When people talk about what&#8217;s attractive, these physical characteristics are what&#8217;s mentioned first and I imagine figure predominantly in most people&#8217;s thoughts.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve always said that we&#8217;d be much more tolerant and more of a loving population if everyone were blind. Then you couldn&#8217;t make your judgments based on the way something looks.</p>
<p>Can you practice &#8220;looking&#8221; at people beyond their exterior? Think about people you meet and ask yourself if you&#8217;ve already made a judgment because of their weight, their features, the way they dress etc.  If you have made a judgment of that nature, revisit that opinion and see if you can change it based on something else.  I had an experience a month ago while waiting for a doctor&#8217;s appointment in a crowded waiting room. I asked if I could sit down next to this woman who was overweight but as soon as she smiled, it was as if she could mesmerize the entire room &#8211; it was such a magnetic smile that I will NEVER forget it. It&#8217;s that type of characteristic that I want you all to find in everyone you meet &#8211; even if it&#8217;s for just a day, or maybe just an hour. Are you willing to try that?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been at a conference all week and I have practiced this technique. I look at everyone who comes into my field of vision and I look for a smile, a turn of the head, a word, the depth of the eyes..anything other than their external appearances. It&#8217;s been a wonderful experience.</p>
<p>The other thing you should practice at least once a day is to thank God (the Universe, Buddha, whomever you wish to thank) for all of your body. Your heart beats so many times a minute EVERY SINGLE minute. It doesn&#8217;t get depressed and want to sleep all day. It doesn&#8217;t &#8220;give up&#8221; (unless you have heart disease) and just stop doing what it&#8217;s supposed to do.</p>
<p>What about your legs? Do you thank the Universe for them? They move you around. Even if you have arthritis, they still get you around. And the arthritis is telling you something too.  It forces you to slow down and pay attention to things around you.</p>
<p>Your body is wonderful and you should bless it! Thank it! Who cares what it looks like? Does it do everything it&#8217;s supposed to do? Then you should acknowledge it. Think about your job. Do you know anyone (or maybe it&#8217;s you) that quietly goes about their business doing everything they are supposed to do day after day and never get any acknowledgment? This is no different. That person will eventually get worn down. But if they get some kind of recognition, they get energized again. If you thank your body for the great work it&#8217;s been doing, there is  a much higher probability that it will continue to bring you more of the same health and well-being. I think that is often the cause of some of our illnesses. We just disparage our bodies so much, that we attract more of the bad things we are thinking or saying. Do you ever say &#8220;I hate the way I look? or &#8220;I hate being old&#8221;? &#8220;I hate being fat&#8221;? Any of these are generally accompanied by strong emotion when you&#8217;re thinking or saying them. That strong emotion is what attracts more of the same emotion to you &#8211; more hate and dislike &#8211; and discontent. Do you want that? If not, start loving your body and see what happens.</p>

<p>You may remember that 1 1/2 years ago when I was worried and scared about doing my second 100 miler in just 6 weeks, I created and then got rid of low back pain. That showed me my power at that time&#8230;however, I obviously forgot that lesson.</p>
<p>I am scheduled to do a 100 mile event in Las Vegas over Valentine&#8217;s Day weekend. But since I&#8217;ve been trying this &#8220;Whole30&#8221; (http://www.Whole30.com ) program and my body has been switching to a &#8220;Fat burning&#8221; mode (no, not for weight loss but to get rid of my addiction to sugar), I have felt like my body had no endurance. Since the 30 days won&#8217;t be over until the day before the race, I&#8217;ve been questioning whether or not to do it (the race, not the program although I should have planned that one better too). So, the worry and concern (translate that into equaling FEAR) were there in my subconscious mind, marinading like a luscious meal.</p>
<p>This is actually very ironic/funny &#8211; Sunday I finally decided that I would implement this strategy for imroving your back health. I had a Varidesk that I bought over 8 months ago but never figured out how to really make it work. But Sunday I was determined!</p>
<p>I am pretty strong and it didn&#8217;t seem that heavy. But when I tried to move it from its storage place to my desk, I had to slide it on the tile. Not so bad. But then I had to lift it up onto the desk. I&#8217;m so short that when I got it to the desk level, it wasn&#8217;t going any further. I tried again. This time as I gave it my all, I felt my vertebrae move in my back. Down went the object and I just stood there wondering if I had done significant damage. When the dizziness passed, I realized I was not paralyzed but that I had hurt my back. As the day went on, the pain continued and increased. Etc&#8230;typical back pain scenario. Nothing special here.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s the lesson here? Even injuries can be brought on via the Law of Attraction. People tend to think that because it&#8217;s an injury, caused by an external event (&#8220;how can that be something I created?&#8221;) there&#8217;s no way you can attract it.</p>
<p>Let me ask you this &#8211; why did I decide on this particular Sunday, just two weeks from my event, to change my setup. Why not a month from now, why not a month ago?</p>
<p>My answer &#8211; because I wasn&#8217;t so focused on this race a month ago like I have been for the past 1 1/2 weeks since I felt my training had gone to pot.</p>
<p>I have to turn this around because there are upcoming events that are really important to me. Last year my fear (and stupidity in not following all the training rules I had ever learned) led to the back problem that interfered with my trek across Tennessee.</p>
<p>How am I going to turn it around? By using a variety of means. EFT, journaling and visualization as the primary means.</p>
<p>You might ask if I shouldn&#8217;t wait until my back is &#8220;healed&#8221; before I start all of that? The answer is a resounding &#8220;no&#8221;! The key is to identify what you have attracted into your life as quickly as possible and then take action to correct that. I almost immediately realized what I had done and so was able to start working on it Sunday. I am constantly amazed at the power of EFT to assist with, not only pain, but also the issues behind that pain. So, that is going to be my primary focus. What is it that&#8217;s going on deep inside that I keep repeating this pattern?</p>
<p>Stay tuned for those answers though.</p>
<p>Just remember that we attract EVERYTHING in our lives even if it seems ludicrous. Go deep &#8211; that&#8217;s my new motto &#8211; go deep within and you&#8217;ll eventually find the answers. Sometimes we have to be beat over the head to figure out the why and how but it&#8217;s there. I guarantee you.</p>

I was there for 4 full days and 5 nights. It&#8217;s been a very long time since I&#8217;ve been on a trip anywhere and stayed in a hotel for more than a night or two. Most of the time I&#8217;ve been there for a run and just hit the hotel for an overnight before or after the race. Even when I traveled for the Navy we&#8217;d go to one place for a night, give our presentation, then move on to the next destination. So this was quite unique for me.</p>
<p>It turned out to be extremely enjoyable and showed me a lot about human nature (at least my own nature). I was able to get away from my hectic job and although I worked in the evenings and had to attend conferences during the day, I was in a different place &#8211; both physically and mentally.</p>
<p>So what does this have to do with the Law of Attraction? I realized from a personal standpoint, what creatures of habit we are and how quickly we create new patterns (that rapidly transform into habits) so that we can feel comfortable. It made me think of other events I&#8217;d heard about and how that pattern creation was at influence as well.</p>
<p>I am very much a creature of habit &#8211; I readily admit that. But, I thought, that it was only at home (or in prep&#8217;ing for and running races). What happened once I arrived in Baltimore was that I was concerned about the creature comforts initially &#8211; food, shelter, safety. I had a hotel and got there and checked in. One comfort down. I then started walking to find a restaurant (harder than you&#8217;d think since it was fairly late) but I succeeded in finding a great place to eat and had a mouthwatering steak! I returned to the hotel and went to bed. I had already searched for a Whole Foods but also had &#8220;accidently&#8221; found the Whole Foods as I was walking to find the restaurant. And it was a nice walk from both my hotel and the hotel where the conference was &#8211; perfect, in other words! What more could I ask for. The woman at the hotel had also succeeded in getting a refrigerator put in my room and that made everything even more delightful.</p>
<p>The first morning I was there, I went to the conference AFTER hitting up both my hotel and the conference hotel for breakfast. Then I sat through lectures for most of the day. But when it was time to head back after the conference events were over for that day, I stopped by Whole Foods and got dinner and stuff for snacks and other meals as needed. That night I went for a long walk, did some &#8220;work&#8221; (for my real job) on my laptop and watched CNN&#8217;s panic about Ebola.</p>
<p>Next a.m. &#8211; rinse and repeat. I skipped my hotel for breakfast but hit up Whole Foods and the host hotel for breakfast, sat through lectures, went to Whole Foods and back to my hotel. Out for a walk and back to eat my salad for dinner, working on my laptop and watching TV.</p>
<p>See something happening here? In just a day I had created a pattern that I was comfortable with. And since I was comfortable with it, I just continued in the same practice day after day and it felt normal. We do things to make ourselves feel comfortable. We don&#8217;t want any of that anxiety or uncertainty that comes with feeling out of place. So we do pretty much anything to feel good. I fell right into that.</p>
<p>This is what happens when we are trying to manifest something and apply the Law of Attraction in our life. We start something new but if it&#8217;s totally off what you&#8217;ve been used to, you can&#8217;t deal with the anxiety and discomfort of that complete newness. Those people who are very negative and repeatedly say (and believe) things that are bringing more of that &#8220;bad stuff&#8221; into their lives have the hardest time with the Law of Attraction because it&#8217;s so difficult for them to feel any type of comfort in a positive atmosphere. That&#8217;s why we talk about the Emotional Guidance System and how getting angry is a big step up from depression. Most people think we&#8217;re expecting someone to go from depression to total happiness &#8212; almost overnight. And that just will NOT work. We know that but forget it because we live in this day and age of Instant Gratification. We want success overnight. It won&#8217;t work that way except in the unusual case.</p>
<p>I quickly fell into a pattern that worked well for me but that&#8217;s because it closely mirrored what I experienced at home. It was easy for me to find a way to practice my daily routine close to what I had at home. If I try to manage and work with the Law of Attraction, I need to do the same thing. I need to create patterns that will augment my implementation, not counter it. So, I may not be able to apply all the techniques that are taught to work with the Law of Attraction. I may have to introduce one technique at a time and do it slowly until I become comfortable with that technique in my life. Trying to apply everything makes you forget and then often get discouraged. Learn one technique/method well and apply it. Make it a pattern. Make it a part of your life. Ultimately it will become a habit but right now the key thing is to incorporate it into your daily life. Keep your anxiety at bay and maintain your vibration in a positive realm &#8211; it may not be ecstasy and total success but if your vibrations are feeling good, then you will continue to manifest more good vibrations. Then you can move on to implementing the next process or technique until it, then, is integrated into your life.</p>
<p>Bottom line, it doesn&#8217;t take much to stay in or fall back into your old patterns. I found that I wasn&#8217;t able to eat as healthily in Baltimore as I do at home and soon it became not so uncomfortable (the first few days) and became the &#8220;norm&#8221; (after about day 2 1/2). When I returned home, I was able to revert back to my healthy eating habits easily because I still remembered how good it feels to do that and how much fun and enjoyment I was getting from the positive changes in my life. Had I been there a much longer time (a month perhaps?), it might have been harder to get back into the healthy pattern. And, I probably would never have even realized it. That&#8217;s the bad part. We have to be vigilant (I guess &#8220;mindful&#8221; is the word of the year) about what we&#8217;re doing, feeling, thinking and saying and determining if it&#8217;s working to help us obtain more of what we want OR is it working to help us obtain more of what we do NOT want because that&#8217;s happening more than we realize. This is why journaling in some form is so important. Write down what we want and what&#8217;s going on in our life. Look in the mirror &#8211; see what you&#8217;re doing (or not doing) that is producing the results we&#8217;re getting. Then figure out what the simplest thing to change is.</p>
<p>Beware of your patterns and how easily you fall back into patterns you don&#8217;t want!</p>

What do I mean by this? Simply that you shouldn&#8217;t keep looking back &#8211; for any reason! If you keep looking around behind you, it screws with your momentum. Think about driving along and you&#8217;re at a certain speed that&#8217;s feeling pretty good and getting you where you&#8217;re going. But you&#8217;re worried (first clue) that there might be some cops behind you or maybe just someone who is tailgating and wants to pass you. As you&#8217;re looking around, you end up putting your foot on the brake to slow down while you look. Your momentum has slowed and now you have to do something to speed up again.</p>
<p>Why do you even want to look at what&#8217;s in your past?  The only possibly legitimate reason could be to examine your limiting beliefs&#8230;but you could check them out without knowing where they come from. Only curiosity could be the reason for trying to figure out whether you got them from your parents or your teachers or what. But that&#8217;s not really important, is it? What&#8217;s matter is that you identify that you actually DO have those beliefs  and then how you can change them.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re looking at what events have happened in your life AND what limiting beliefs have been operating in your mind and life. These beliefs have been the primary influencing factor in how the Law of Attraction works in your  life. You can take a short time to look at past events and see if this has been the case &#8211; have you been living with self-fulfilling prophecies.  This is just another phrase for the Law of Attraction. I used to (many, many years ago) tell people that they wouldn&#8217;t like me once they got to know me and guess what? They pulled away eventually &#8211; just as I predicted (prophecy).</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a comfort zone involved here as well. No matter how crappy our past was, it still is something we can hold on to. We know what we felt like, we know what our responses were. It&#8217;s the knowledge that is the comfort. When we&#8217;re stepping out into new territory and changing our thoughts and life actions, it&#8217;s scary because we don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going to happen. What if something goes wrong? What if I didn&#8217;t identify my limiting beliefs enough? What if, what if? By the time you&#8217;re done questioning yourself, you want to go back to the past.</p>
<p>Guess what? The past is over, done with, gone! You just have to be daring and brave and move on. Trying the new way of life won&#8217;t hurt you as long as you believe in the Law of Attraction and the other Universal Laws. This is a friendly universe. We just seem to be very adept at repeating our past &#8211; because we pay so much attention to it. Be different, you might like it.</p>
<p>So stop looking in your rear view mirror and stop playing in the Exorcist. Keep you head forward and watch what&#8217;s happening in front of you. This is a major benefit of having a coach. Your coach will walk with you and help  you through the scary parts.</p>
<p>Think about it, then go do it!</p>

<p>Amazon Prime is the most phenomenal (and addictive) system for shopping that I have ever experienced. And I&#8217;ve stuck with Amazon through thick and thin from their very inception. Even back in the beginning when there were many unpleasant experiences with their shipping. But I knew they were doing something that would benefit me and lots of others if we just hung in there.</p>
<p>Amazon Prime provides free 3 day delivery for every item ordered. If you want to pay for or deal with the delivery options on every single purchase then it&#8217;s not for you. If you like convenience and saving, then this IS definitely for you.</p>
<p>Just like Amazon Prime, there is a Universe Prime! Whatever you ask for is delivered and as long as you&#8217;ve placed your order properly (discussed in the last couple of weeks), you&#8217;ll get delivery right to your doorstep. Now it won&#8217;t always be in 2 or 3 days because of the Law of Gestation but it will definitely come if you place your order correctly and then put out the sign with your address on it (focus on having it instead of the lack) so that the delivery person can bring it to the right place.</p>

<p>Whatever you ask for, you will manifest. Most of us, however, have passing thoughts like &#8220;oh, I&#8217;d like that&#8221;, or &#8220;that would be nice in my living room&#8221; &#8211; you know, the window shopping syndrome. The Universe will actually manifest each thing you ask for, each and every time. So why aren&#8217;t our houses and lives filled like a version of &#8220;Hoarding&#8221;? Because there is a difference between manifesting and materializing. The Universe manifests everything we ask for but in order for that to materialize in our life we have to allow it in and be ready to receive it. When it&#8217;s a passing thought, there isn&#8217;t enough focus or desire for it to materialize in your life. You know how we say &#8220;act as if&#8221; and &#8220;focus on having what you want&#8221;. Think of it as you putting a homing beacon out for the UPS truck to make it to your door. If you&#8217;re on and off about something, then it&#8217;s as if the truck is zig zagging around your city or neighborhood instead of making it straight to your house.</p>
<p>This is a good thing for us because often we&#8217;ll make quick remarks as a result of some emotional event/situation. And when we say something like &#8220;I wish you were gone&#8221;, you don&#8217;t really mean it but you&#8217;ve shouted it out to the Universe! Fortunately this is a temporary feeling/thought and it&#8217;s not something you really want to happen.</p>
<p>Once you identify something you really want, don&#8217;t leave it at that. Go back and be specific. Define what it is you really want &#8211; what color is it, how big or small do you want it, what other parameters are you desiring. This is easy (if you remember to do it) for physical items, but it&#8217;s as critical, if not more, with the non-physical items &#8211; often because we can&#8217;t envision all of the aspects involved. Let me give you my personal example which will make you chuckle. I was feeling &#8220;left out&#8221; at work with the new &#8220;regime&#8221; (I really need to learn to like change..ha ha) and wished I was more involved with the new president. Now for the funny part and I am not complaining because I did get what I wanted and I know that I can refine it to be more manageable. I am now constantly occupied with the new president and helping out and talking, reviewing, etc. In addition, I was wanting more people to ask me questions. Now, my office is like a revolving door.  I really am enjoying it because I love to teach and guide BUT (there&#8217;s always a &#8216;but&#8217; if you don&#8217;t get specific enough) I can&#8217;t get any of the other work done that I have to. You see, all I did was make the two statements &#8211; I wanted to be more involved with the president and I wanted more people to ask me questions. I never went any further. There were many ways I could have arranged for everything to happen had I just taken the time to be specific.  I could have said I want the president to consult with me for a finite period of time (I would need to say what that finite period was) or in segments, etc. I could have specified that people ask me questions in the afternoon between 1 and 3 but that it&#8217;s just what they do, not that I put out the word that they can only do it then. Why not make it so that the Universe guides them to only have questions during that time rather than me mandating it.</p>
<p>There are many aspects to consider. Make yourself a list of characteristics or parameters you should address when being specific about something. If you&#8217;ve made that list ahead of time, then when you&#8217;re ready to ask for something, you&#8217;ve got the checklist right in front of you. Just remember to be specific.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s some examples:</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>For a physical wish</strong></span>:</p>
<ul>
<li><em>What is it you want</em></li>
<li><em>What color do you want</em></li>
<li><em>What size/shape/model do you want (31 x 32 x 24 inches for example, or midsize, compact etc)</em></li>
<li><em>Where do you want it to fit?</em></li>
<li><em>What kind of maintenance do you want it to require or to pay for?</em></li>
<li><em>Just think of the characteristics you want and list them all.</em></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>For a non-physical wish</strong></span>:</li>
<li><em>What is it you want</em></li>
<li><em>Is it work related, home life, relationships, all of the above &#8211; be specific about which part of your life you want it to occur in</em></li>
<li><em>When (which part of your day, week, month etc) do you want it to occur</em></li>
<li><em>How should people approach you</em></li>
<li><em>How often should it happen (occur)</em></li>
<li><em>How long should an encounter last (if pertinent)</em></li>
<li><em>Who do you want to interact with</em></li>
</ul>
<p>Remember that when dealing with people you can also augment your list and make your wish come true faster by using the Book of Positive Aspects and the Rampage of Appreciation.</p>
<p>All these techniques and laws work together. Just remember to be specific or &#8220;be careful what you ask for&#8221;.</p>
