There’s Always Enough

custom_clothespinned_paper_16139Remember when we talked about the economy being a mirror or you and your beliefs?

This is more on that subject and a very important “more”. It affects your every day life.

If you repeatedly think that there isn’t enough, you are constantly in a state of lack. This keeps your momentum at bay, sets up a low level (and in some cases a high level) stress response in your body. You do NOT function well when your body is experiencing the stress response. You may think you and the reason is that in this day and age pretty much everyone experiences this chronic low level stress and we consider it normal. Stress keeps you in your fight, flight (or even freeze) mode and this is for survival – survival right this minute, not in the future. So you don’t have time or the ability to project into the future.

When you think of not having enough, you will attract more of that lack to you. That isn’t what you want but you’ve been conditioned all your life to think that what is going on around you reflects ACCURATELY what will (or is) happen in your life. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It appears this way because you repeat the cycle over and over again. You think about lack, attract lack and obviously get more lack. I would imagine that this belief has been instilled in you since childhood and then added to by the media, teachers, friends and continued family input.

You have to believe in the Universe and in how all throughout the ages, there has been enough of everything – “enough” always appears. That’s why we shouldn’t panic about gas “shortages” or food “shortages” – the Universe will always provide. Someone always comes up with a new alternative, another way to provide what you need.

Take some time and go back through your life and try to find places and times where you were just “sure” you wouldn’t have enough. But then out of nowhere came your saving grace.

Put this mantra right up there with the other couple I’ve given you – “There’s always enough” – whenever you feel scared that you’re not going to have enough time, money, energy, ideas or anything, repeat this over and over again until that anxiety and panicky feeling disappears and you can concentrate on other things in life. Keep doing this repeatedly whenever that feeling or thought pops into your brain.

Try it – there really IS always enough!

One Size Does Not Fit All!

prohibited_text_11507I think one thing that’s wrong with our immediate all-encompassing access to “everything you ever wanted to know about anything” type life” is that you have to realize that in so many aspects of your life, one size does NOT fit all. You have to personalized what works for you.

What a boring world this would be if that were not the case. Everything and everyone would be the same – just like an army of robots. Don’t you think that would be very mundane and cause you to lose interest in life in general?

So why do we search out the one way to do things? The easy way supposedly. People are always selling the ONE way to do things…and unfortunately we fall prey to believing that if it worked for them it MUST work for us. But then we get disappointed when we find out it doesn’t work for us. We think that there is something wrong with us. That’s not the case at all. It’s just that what works for someone else does not necessarily work for us.

We have to take the ideas of others and try them out in various combinations to find out what clicks inside of us. It’s only through experimentation and open mindedness that we’ll know what OUR magic solution is.

The worst thing you can do is think that you are a failure because something that worked for someone else didn’t work for you. You are an individual and you have to find your own way in life.  You have to determine what works for you. First, you have to make sure your “why” is aligned with what you are trying to do. Is your heart really in this? Is this something you want to do above all else? If so, then you can continue with passion. Passion is the key ingredient to not giving up, to making it work for you, to finding your way.

All of the variation is based on the fact that we each have different beliefs and when we believe in something, then there is a greater likelihood that it will work. If we do not have that strong belief, then our hearts won’t be in it and our success will not be great, if at all. You have to model the proposed solution to your beliefs and your conscience. You have to feel that it will work for you, not just others.

One size does NOT fit all and what works for someone else will not necessarily work for you. Accept that and rejoice in it. Take that realization and run with it creating your personalized success formula.

Stop Checking The Mail

mailbox_opened_letter_text_11236This is a follow-on post for you after you “placed your order” with the Universe. If you’d done your homework properly, figured out what you really wanted, defined it down to the finest detail, and then laid it out there for the Universe to process and deliver, you have appropriately placed your order.

Now, your job is to have faith that the Universe will deliver your order to your door. One of the quickest ways to keep it from showing up in your life is to continually check to see if it’s come yet and then wondering why not.

Faith means knowing that the Universe is powerful and will produce this “thing’ you want. The only requirement is really a passion of yours and since you’ve picked out the size and color (as in a catalog) and put in the right address for delivery.

Now you have to understand the difference between manifestation and materialization. Manifestation happens as soon as you hit the order button! Materialization, though, may take some time depending on various circumstances. One of those circumstances is your faith and belief that this will happen. Here is where your underlying limiting beliefs get in the way and you have to work on uncovering them (another post in a week or so). You can sit there and say you believe but if you continue to focus on your lack of having this thing or lack of having other things in your life and you will be surrounded by negative vibrations – or vibrations that repel the Universe from your doorstep. You simply attract more lack.

Since limiting beliefs are very deep and may not be easily uncovered quickly, one way to keep them at bay and prevent them from interfering in your delivery is to use a repetitive phrase whenever doubt or thoughts of lack enter your mind. Use something like “that is not my truth” or “Nothing and no one can interfere in my receipt of this wonderful gift from the Universe, NOT even myself.” or “Everything always works out for me”.

Bottom line is that you have to just “let go” of thinking about the thing and about when it’s going to arrive or IF it’s going to arrive. use a phrase to get your mind off of it and on to other things. Just like a package, the Universe will deliver your gift sooner than you realize if you let go of it and stop checking your mailbox to see if it showed up yet.

Try it and combine the distraction technique using one of these phrases. See what happens.

The Economy Is A Mirror Of Your Mind

economy-hi

Did you ever notice how some people see great things in a pile of “muck” and others just see “muck”. You see what you are conditioned to see and what your beliefs tell you to do.  The more you learn to see the good in things, the more you will attract good things into your life. If you think “I never have any luck” or “nothing good ever happens to me” or “the economy stinks. How could I possibly be expected to succeed or make any money”, this is what will occur in your life. Basic Law of Attraction. Couldn’t be simpler.

If you say things like “the economy stinks so my income will stink”, you are giving away your control in life. You make yourself a pawn to others and to the revolving factors in the universe. Do you really want to do that? Do you want to give up control of your life? I know that I don’t wan to do that in any way, shape or form. So, if I want good fortune to come to me, I look for it in every situation. I’ve talked about this in last week and this week’s “Tuesdays with Terrie”. There are lots of things I could find “bad” or “wrong” with the latest events in my life but why would I want to concentrate on them? I don’t want more bad things in my life. I want to see the good in the experience and see the lessons learned and that can be learned from these events. And the more I look, the more experienced I get so that it becomes automatic to look ONLY for the good things.

Take my developing epilepsy when I was 21. I could have been all bummed out because that meant I could no longer pursue my goal of becoming a neurosurgeon. But, I was so ecstatic that a) I didn’t have a brain tumor (one of the two “options” I was given – “you either have epilepsy or a brain tumor”) and that b) my seizures were easily controlled with medicine and c) that I hadn’t been killed or injured when I had a seizure driving. Because I was focusing on the good in the diagnosis, nothing bad ever came from it. And as it turned out, having a disability has helped me understand and help my patients live with something that has a stigma in their own lives. How could I possibly be unhappy when I’ve seen all those benefits?

While THE economy is a reflection of Universal or Divine Mind, your own personal economy does NOT have to be. When people hear that the “economy is bad” and think that they have to be subject to everything that everyone else is, they just give up and sink into the despair and belief that they will just be poor until the economy changes. When a person understands that this is just a collective thought that they don’t have to buy into, then they can continue to work in the positive aspects of their own prosperity. They do not give their control to anyone else. The Universe loves action and these people take action, making their own success and economy. They know that they attract what they focus on and instead of focusing on (and complaining about) the “bad” way things are going, they simply look for solutions. Their mind is solution oriented, not problem oriented. As such, they find the answer and bring prosperity into their lives – over and over again.

Which type of life do you want? Prosperity or poverty? If you choose prosperity, stop listening to others, stop watching the news, stop being so impressionable and start bringing what you want into your life!

Make Your Day Great!

make your day greatYou can make your day great, no matter what happens. Start the process early in the day – when you first wake up. Begin with segment intending – go through each part of your day and actually walk through it exactly as you want it to be.  Be specific. Visualize yourself getting up, working out (if that’s in your plan), eating breakfast, driving safely and quickly to work, go through each segment of your day at work smoothly and efficiently, your drive home, whatever activities you will go through at night. This should take only a couple of minutes and will tell the Universe exactly what you want out of the day.

Once you get up, continue to segment intend to reinforce what you first created that morning. But also find specific areas to focus on to keep you going in the right direction.

Remember the good things you have in your life and the good aspects you envisioned for the day. Build up your momentum as you begin each segment. Go into the bathroom and pull out a Kodak moment and focus on that to bring your momentum up to a high level to go into your next segment. Cancel out any negative thought or idea that comes into your head  use the “That is Not My Truth” and “Everything always turns out great for me”.

Even if things start to turn south, bring them back by focusing on your momentum and visualizing your story for the  year. Bring up a successful moment and concentrate on that for a few minutes. Generate the feelings that that accomplishment will infuse into you. Take the time to be quiet for a few seconds and do this. This will turn your day around. When you’ve finished concentrating on that success, do a short segment intending for the upcoming section of our day. Then go out and conquer that moment.

Make every day great. You really CAN do it!
