Should We Fear Ebola?

10678640_10152703358960435_4104647929256730427_nFear is incapacitating and blocks success. You know that but trying to eliminate fear from our being takes some focus and concentration.

As a humanity we seem to have two themes – fear and faith (lack of fear). Sometimes there is an in between but that also is often considered apathy.

I am going to go on a bit of a rant about this right now. Ebola has been waging war with humans for the past several months. However, people in the United States have virtually ignored it (seemingly just hoping it would go away) and didn’t care about the effects it was having upon the rest of the world because it hadn’t affected the United States yet. We tend to have the Ostrich syndrome with our head stuck in the sand (or maybe someplace else – you can tell I’m disturbed by this). It’s amazing how whenever there is any other type of disaster in another country we’re all rushing to help – musicians give free concerts, the Red Cross tells you to text them, every organization out there starts collecting. But in this case, the number of cases and the number of deaths have been rapidly increasing in other countries and we did and said NOTHING…..until, of course, it came into the United States. Initially there was concern when we brought people back for treatment but the media was used to quench any major concerns…..until there was a case of a traveler who flew infected into the country. Now, a greater portion of our country has become concerned (I guess it really is “All about me”) and as the days roll by and there are more people infected, the outrage and fear deepens.

As we’ve talked about repeatedly – all that fear does is attract more of what we are fearing (in this case disease). There is a concept head_stuck_in_sand_400_clr_6605called “Race Consciousness” that explains how things can migrate rapidly from near apathy to massive fear. It seems to spread like wildfire. One day everything is fine and people are going along as usual. But then the next day the fear is all around us -we saw something on the news or on the internet and then, of course, the “power of the story” comes into play.  God forbid we talk about the positive aspects of an event or not talk about it at all. It’s best to not talk about things like an epidemic or anything bad (even the enterovirus that spread across the country pretty rapidly too) especially when we can’t do anything about it. Do NOT feed into the race consciousness because you’ll feel yourself being swept into the waves of fear. And, the sad thing is that you probably won’t even recognize it.

When you find yourself fearing something happening, immediately say “That is not my truth” followed by “Nothing and nobody can interfere with my health and well-being, not even myself”. You can also use “Everything always works out for me”. Stay away from the details either on the news or the internet. Of course you might want to know what’s happening so you can scan your favorite internet site for the latest but then leave it quickly.

Stay away from the “water cooler” syndrome. Don’t engage in conversation about it. You’re probably thinking I’m telling you to stick your head in the sand but I’m not. If you can do something, take action and do it – volunteer, donate money, whatever. But if you’re just talking about the “tragedy”, the “fear” etc, then you are simply attracting more fear and more illness into your life. And when it goes into the Race Consciousness (everything you think is disseminated into the Universe and becomes part of the Race Consciousness) where this massive energy force will bring more of what is feared onto humanity.

So, we do not need to fear ebola…we need to counteract the mass fear that is being spread across all of America (and most likely the world). Use the statements I listed above and continue to say them whenever you feel scared.

You have more power than you realize so use it to everyone’s advantage.

Remember “that which I greatly feared, hath come upon me”.

Don’t let it come upon you.

Amazon Prime Of The YOUniverse

amazon prime We’ve been talking about how to make your wish and then the Universe will deliver it to you. I liken my life as having an Amazon Prime account with the Universe. It brings you everything, every single thing, you ask for – whether it’s something you want or not. That is the hardest part for everyone to accept – even the things you don’t think you would have ever asked for.

Amazon Prime is the most phenomenal (and addictive) system for shopping that I have ever experienced. And I’ve stuck with Amazon through thick and thin from their very inception. Even back in the beginning when there were many unpleasant experiences with their shipping. But I knew they were doing something that would benefit me and lots of others if we just hung in there.

Amazon Prime provides free 3 day delivery for every item ordered. If you want to pay for or deal with the delivery options on every single purchase then it’s not for you. If you like convenience and saving, then this IS definitely for you.

Just like Amazon Prime, there is a Universe Prime! Whatever you ask for is delivered and as long as you’ve placed your order properly (discussed in the last couple of weeks), you’ll get delivery right to your doorstep. Now it won’t always be in 2 or 3 days because of the Law of Gestation but it will definitely come if you place your order correctly and then put out the sign with your address on it (focus on having it instead of the lack) so that the delivery person can bring it to the right place.

Sometimes it helps to think of the Universal Laws in an every day manner like this. It keeps things light and positive.

Place your order today (remember to be specific and then act as if it’s already there – clean off the space where you’re going to place it etc).

What are you going to order today? I know that I’m going to work on refining my order for the 2015 season.

Momentum Monday

Here’s momentum-monday1another discovery I made that may help you this week.

I was sitting in my recliner and had just awakened from a nap. I looked around my living room and recognized how much I loved my house and how it truly was a home. I have though this before but I now know I need to make it a habit to tell my beautiful home how much I love it and how much it means to me. The same goes for my vehicle. I’ve had that also for 10 years (same time as I moved in here I bought my car) and it has come through in every possible moment. It has been faithful and kept me safe and sound for all these years. I haven’t told it enough either.

Then there’s my cactus garden out front. I have done nothing to/with it in all these years except to talk to it and visit it almost every day. It has really done well and I love the low maintenance.

I love San Antonio and the new section of highway that makes my commute to and from work much quicker and easier.

I love the building we work in too.

I love my computer at home and at work even though they are like little children who “act up” when they want my attention…isn’t that a unique way to look at it? I find that much easier than getting upset with the computers.

Look at everything around you and proclaim that you love it and keep that up daily if not more often.

Try it this week!

When You Wish Upon A Star

when you wish upon a star Given how things have gone for me in the past few months, I probably should also caveat this with “Be careful what you wish for”.  When the Law of Attraction works extremely well in you life (as it does in mine), you often get what you want very quickly – often you haven’t taken enough time to be specific about what you want.

Whatever you ask for, you will manifest. Most of us, however, have passing thoughts like “oh, I’d like that”, or “that would be nice in my living room” – you know, the window shopping syndrome. The Universe will actually manifest each thing you ask for, each and every time. So why aren’t our houses and lives filled like a version of “Hoarding”? Because there is a difference between manifesting and materializing. The Universe manifests everything we ask for but in order for that to materialize in our life we have to allow it in and be ready to receive it. When it’s a passing thought, there isn’t enough focus or desire for it to materialize in your life. You know how we say “act as if” and “focus on having what you want”. Think of it as you putting a homing beacon out for the UPS truck to make it to your door. If you’re on and off about something, then it’s as if the truck is zig zagging around your city or neighborhood instead of making it straight to your house.

This is a good thing for us because often we’ll make quick remarks as a result of some emotional event/situation. And when we say something like “I wish you were gone”, you don’t really mean it but you’ve shouted it out to the Universe! Fortunately this is a temporary feeling/thought and it’s not something you really want to happen.

Once you identify something you really want, don’t leave it at that. Go back and be specific. Define what it is you really want – what color is it, how big or small do you want it, what other parameters are you desiring. This is easy (if you remember to do it) for physical items, but it’s as critical, if not more, with the non-physical items – often because we can’t envision all of the aspects involved. Let me give you my personal example which will make you chuckle. I was feeling “left out” at work with the new “regime” (I really need to learn to like change..ha ha) and wished I was more involved with the new president. Now for the funny part and I am not complaining because I did get what I wanted and I know that I can refine it to be more manageable. I am now constantly occupied with the new president and helping out and talking, reviewing, etc. In addition, I was wanting more people to ask me questions. Now, my office is like a revolving door.  I really am enjoying it because I love to teach and guide BUT (there’s always a ‘but’ if you don’t get specific enough) I can’t get any of the other work done that I have to. You see, all I did was make the two statements – I wanted to be more involved with the president and I wanted more people to ask me questions. I never went any further. There were many ways I could have arranged for everything to happen had I just taken the time to be specific.  I could have said I want the president to consult with me for a finite period of time (I would need to say what that finite period was) or in segments, etc. I could have specified that people ask me questions in the afternoon between 1 and 3 but that it’s just what they do, not that I put out the word that they can only do it then. Why not make it so that the Universe guides them to only have questions during that time rather than me mandating it.

There are many aspects to consider. Make yourself a list of characteristics or parameters you should address when being specific about something. If you’ve made that list ahead of time, then when you’re ready to ask for something, you’ve got the checklist right in front of you. Just remember to be specific.

Here’s some examples:

For a physical wish:

  • What is it you want
  • What color do you want
  • What size/shape/model do you want (31 x 32 x 24 inches for example, or midsize, compact etc)
  • Where do you want it to fit?
  • What kind of maintenance do you want it to require or to pay for?
  • Just think of the characteristics you want and list them all.
  • For a non-physical wish:
  • What is it you want
  • Is it work related, home life, relationships, all of the above – be specific about which part of your life you want it to occur in
  • When (which part of your day, week, month etc) do you want it to occur
  • How should people approach you
  • How often should it happen (occur)
  • How long should an encounter last (if pertinent)
  • Who do you want to interact with

Remember that when dealing with people you can also augment your list and make your wish come true faster by using the Book of Positive Aspects and the Rampage of Appreciation.

All these techniques and laws work together. Just remember to be specific or “be careful what you ask for”.

Have  a great week!
